Phase-Out of Charter Fleet Survey

We regularly survey boats at the end of their charter contract at all the charter companies in the BVI. We work for the vessel's owners and work closely with the maintenance crew of the charter companies.

CARIBBEAN MARINE SURVEYORS LTD CONDITION SURVEY FOR PHASE-OUT

The purpose of the phase-out survey, is to provide the owner with a report on the condition of the vessel after the charter company has completed their work to phase-out the vessel from their fleet. The survey is usually carried out in three phases. We inspect the vessel's bottom preferably after the last charter and make recommendations. We survey the rest of the vessel when the phase out has started and make recommendations. We re-inspect the vessel when the charter company think that they have finished to check that all the work has been completed to a satisfactory standard. Sometimes we have to make several follow up visits to ensure compliance with recommendations.
